Comprehensive terms of service for OCNetworks hosting services and all related services

1. Agreement Overview
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of game server hosting and related services provided by OCNetworks. By purchasing, accessing, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use our services. OCNetworks reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Important:
- You must be at least 18 years old to use our services
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and OCNetworks
2. Service Descriptions
OCNetworks provides:
- Game Server Hosting: Including but not limited to Rust, Minecraft, DayZ, Palworld, and other supported games ("Game Servers")
- VPS Hosting: Virtual Private Servers with varying specifications
- Web Hosting: Shared and managed web hosting services (if applicable)
- Related Services: Control panels, automated backups, DDoS protection, and technical support
Service specifications, features, and availability are subject to the specific plan purchased and may vary.
3. Account Responsibilities
As an account holder, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
- Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Use strong passwords and enable two-factor authentication when available
- Not share your account credentials with unauthorized third parties
- Ensure all contact information (email, billing details) remains current
Note: You are solely responsible for any consequences resulting from unauthorized access to your account due to compromised credentials.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to use our services for:
- Illegal Activities: Any activity that violates UK law, international law, or the laws of your jurisdiction
- Copyright Infringement: Hosting, distributing, or facilitating pirated content, cracked games, or unauthorized software
- Malicious Activity: DDoS attacks, hacking, malware distribution, phishing, or network abuse
- Resource Abuse: Using excessive server resources that negatively impact other users
- Spam or Harassment: Sending unsolicited messages, harassment, hate speech, or abusive content
- Adult Content: Pornography, sexually explicit material, or services primarily focused on adult content
Violation Consequences:
Violation of this policy may result in immediate service suspension or termination without refund. We reserve the right to report illegal activities to law enforcement. For serious violations, we may also pursue legal action.
5. Service Level Agreement
OCNetworks strives to provide reliable service:
99.9% Uptime Guarantee
We target 99.9% uptime for all services (excluding scheduled maintenance). Downtime credits may be available for extended outages.
24/7 Support
Our support team is available 24/7 via ticket system. Response times vary based on priority and plan tier.
DDoS Protection
Enterprise-grade DDoS protection is included with all services to mitigate attacks and ensure availability.
Daily Backups
Automated daily backups are available on select plans. You remain responsible for maintaining your own backups.
SLA does not cover downtime caused by factors outside our control, including third-party services, network issues beyond our infrastructure, or user error.
6. Payment and Billing
- Payment Terms: All services must be paid in advance. Prices are listed in GBP (£) and are subject to change.
- Billing Cycles: Services are billed monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually depending on your chosen plan.
- Automatic Renewal: Services automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You are responsible for cancelling unwanted services.
- Late Payments: Services may be suspended if payment is not received within 5 days of the due date. A late fee may apply.
- Refunds: Subject to our 72-Hour Refund Policy. No refunds for partial billing periods or after 72 hours.
- Chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback will result in immediate account suspension and may affect future service eligibility.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate services at any time. OCNetworks reserves the right to suspend or terminate your services immediately and without prior notice if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities.
Upon termination, all your data will be deleted within 7 days unless otherwise specified. We are not responsible for backing up your data after termination. You should always maintain your own backups.
To cancel your service: Submit a cancellation request through the billing portal before your next renewal date. No refunds will be issued for unused time unless covered by our refund policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
OCNetworks provides services "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OCNetworks shall not be liable for:
- Loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities
- Service interruptions, downtime, or performance issues
- Damages caused by third-party attacks or security breaches
- Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for services in the 12 months preceding the claim.
